Two great things from this latest podcast:

1. Open discussion about how Timmons needs renovations. Both JD and CBR speak openly now. In the past it was something like "TImmons is ok. We will play wherever"
2. CBR says goal for facilties is to complete with High Majors. He doesnt say Mid Major. Love that vision

All guesswork right now. We can get to the top 50 or even top 20 fast with this schedule. We just have to win. We only have about 4 true OOC patsies. Others on there are good enough to give you lots of credit for beating them, but not so good that they can't be beat. We might be able to drop 2 and still be top 50 by New Years.

I think the SoCon has an agreement with CBS sports network this year for 5 games IIRC. Maybe have a game there also.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
