Aside from last week or Citadel games the side of our stadium that shows up on TV is usually empty. Not a few empty seats or not quite shoulder to shoulder, but empty. The home side is more like what you are describing. The home side looked about like usual last week, but I think that’s because, as FUBeAR points out , tons of people were milling around having fun. So it’s becoming more like a horse race vibe where you mostly walk around and have a good time instead of sitting in a seat and that’s great. On visits recruits will see the fun being had and like it.

Our crowd of 11,628 is the largest home crowd of the season in the SoCon through two weeks of play. Even more than citadel managed at home for a homecoming game against a cross-town rival. Only citadel and Furman have crowds bigger than 10,000.
