What a long way to fall in just a few days, we were 5-1 and up by 16 points at Alabama, now we are 5-3 after a blowout loss to Winthrop

I was afraid the UA game would have some negative effects but was hoping it wouldn’t be this bad. Winthrop is good but FU didn’t show up today for whatever reason. Can’t wait to hear CBR on the postgame. WU gave us a lot of chances to really get back in the game but didn’t look like we said thanks but no thanks.
Probably one of the worst games I’ve seen Furman play in a few years. I take some comfort knowing that this was not a home game and not a conference game.

well that pretty much stunk... they gonna have to figure out a few things
Everything that was Furman’s now belongs to Winthrop. No more national pub. No more over-rated rankings, no more national tweets about our games, no more state publicity. Furman can now go back to just being another middle of the road team that won’t be heard from for a while. This one loss did a lot of damage to the program.

Getting in foul trouble is an area we need to grow in. That could hurt us this year.
