Don’t get me wrong. The VMI trip is beautiful. Downtown Lexington is very nice (if you like walking up hills). We always tailgate with the Furman crowd in a parking lot on the side of a hill across the street from the stadium. We have walked around W&L a couple of times, when we were younger. But their stadium is the pits. Just sayin’.

Might want to try tailgating with your group here (lower left of pic) next time. Gotta ‘rally’ somewhere else and enter as a group because they use theme park-type parking methodology & direct you to the next available spot. Their fans, that we met, were extremely friendly & welcoming.
