I just do not see that much of a gap between ETSU and Furman.
I don’t either but it just goes to show you what one Power 5 win will do for you. If we had pulled out the win at Auburn we’d be right there with them. Kenpom is not kind to us either as we are in a free fall now losing a couple spots every day. Down to 82 now.

We are currently ranked 296th in the nation in offensive rebounding percentage. Uncg is 26th.

One of the keys to the game.

If the danged lid will come off of the bucket there won't be a need for offensive rebounds.

Not many NIT projections out there but most have UNCG and FU in and around 5 or 6 seeds. Both should get in but certainly not a sure thing. This is of course with ETSU winning the tourney which is far from a sure thing too.

We probably need to knock off UNCG at least once either tomorrow night or in the SoCon semifinals to lock up an NIT spot

That’s what I was thinking. Prolly need a minimum 25 wins.

"ETSU also burst into the top five as its at-large bid potential incrementally improves with each passing win. The quest for #2BidSoCon will likely require UNC Greensboro or Furman to win the SoCon tournament, and their matchup will be one of the best games featuring two teams from The Other Top 25 this week."

"The Paladins and Spartans join Gonzaga, Duke, Kansas, ETSU, and Florida State as the only team to win at least 23 games in each of the last four seasons."

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
