We owe it to these kids to pack the house. This Sr class changed the trajectory of Furman basketball and should have some permanent recognition in Timmons.

To put it in perspective, in the 3 years prior to their arrival we were a combined 30-61. If you give them a mulligan for their Fr year, over the last 3 years they are a combined 61-37 with the end result TBD.

If you look at Pomeroy we were ranked

2012 - 247
2013 - 342
2014 - 342

Fr 2015 - 309
So 2016 - 175
Jr 2017 - 106
Sr 2018 - 102 as of today.

Going to miss these guys, but what a run it has been the last few years. Can't wait to see the rest of the year, including an NCAA berth.

This is a great class. Thanks to all the seniors, and I hope you go out with a bang!! First time since 1980 we have had back to back 20 win seasons. Of course 1980 also was the last year we made the NCAA tourney.

Devin’s shot is off, 2 of last 17 from 3, but credit him for playing great D, rebounding and using his amazing athleticism and body control to create havoc off the dribble. I think Fowler is as close to the perfect player for our system as there is, he simply does everything well. Shoots well, drives to the hoops, great passer, better rebounder than you’d think. He might be the toughest of the Sr’s to replace. JD is just so steady and clutch. And constantly improving. Shooting 42% from 3 in SoCon play. Great leader. And love his mid range pull up J. It’s money. Was thrilled to see Beans hit that big three before he came out of the game. That was a storybook ending to a career that was anything but that. Injuries dogged him for a good part of his career, ruined the first half of his Sr year, but the ultimate team player.

What class. Back to back 20 win seasons, 62 wins and counting over the last 3 years.

Great careers for four men who have been a huge part in making Furman basketball matter again.

Good game tonight. I expected a bit of a slow start because that often happens on senior night - a lot of emotion going on. But once we got really going it was a solid game. Remember VMI has been playing better - their victory at the Citadel part of that.

Brown leading all scorers in back-to-back games.

Glad Beans was able to bang in that last shot.
