Tre Clark hit a great reverse layup at a critical point midway second half when we needed a basket. He seems to like that shot.
Bothwell is awfully good close to the basket-and can hit some 3’s. He is going to be fun to watch in the future. He saved us tonight.

There are very few teams in the country that have 4 guys that are capable of going off for 25+ on any night - Lyons, Mounce, Gurley and now Bothwell. This team will be tough to stop all year. Really good road win and brilliant second half. Chattanooga is much improved. They’ll win some games this year. I’m so dang happy about this squad right now.

UTC shot better than 70% from the field in the first half. Likely that was not going to continue and it didn't. Bothwell is great going to the hoop and has a very creative mindset in finishing. FU is very hard to defend with all the options available. We have 6 guys in the rotation who have shown the capacity to really light it up on any given night.
UNCG will be highly motivated coming into the Well on Saturday. They have 2 league losses now and a third so early in the season would be really bad for them.
Western is looking good. Are they a serious, elite SoCon team now?

WCU is for real. They lost to #10 Florida State by 2. They beat the Mocs by 10 at home. Actually they lost to FSU by 5 but point made. The UTC win is their only win against a team with a winning record and they have had some really close wins: UNCA by 1 Jacksonville in 2 OTs. Definitely an improved and dangerous team.
