He's surprisingly nonchalant given they escaped Wofford by only a single point, at home, in a dismally low-scoring game.

Might we catch them asleep at the switch?

I doubt our starters will go scoreless.

Don't read too much into this. Nonchalant is not unusual for a Forbes post-game press conference.

If the weather holds, I plan to attend the game. Purchased tickets last night and looking forward to it.

As if the excitement weren't escalating rapidly enough, KenPom has ETSU & FU neck and neck at 70 & 71, respectively: https://kenpom.com

No! They had their bad game against WC. I expect they will play very well against FU, much better than they did against WC. They will not look like they did Wednesday on Saturday. Count on it.

If he had said they'd had a bad game I would agree with you. But he didn't say that. "The balls just didn't fall" was all I heard. That's being nonchalant, and that's my point.

Since the students will not be there, it will fall on the "blue hairs" to get rowdy.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
