Furman won three SoCon championships yesterday. Pulling myself out of the football bubble to say well done to Men's Soccer, Men And Women XC. Not said enough but I'm sure I'm not alone in being proud that Furman has the best overall sports program in the SoCon while also having the most rigorous academics.
So true. Simply amazing what those three programs are doing. It’s a blessing to have a coach like Doug Allison at Furman all these years. He could have easily gone to virtually any school in the country and competed for national titles, but he stayed at Furman and has done it very, very well for decades.JohnW wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 3:45 pmFurman won three SoCon championships yesterday. And big props to whichever AD made the decision to invest in the running programs. The level of success is just downright remarkable.
Not to mention football and both hoops teams are favorites or among a handful of favorites. Great times in Greenville. Makes me proud.
