Sun came up yesterday. We got whipped. We played poorly. I trust in our crowd to get better from this past week and move on. I think sometimes our youth shows on this team. We want to think that we are an old veteran team but we are not. That is a good thing that we are young and have a long way to go. I do believe that you can throw stats out the window and get ready for the next team. I am still proud of the direction we are going.

It won’t be the first time I’ve sat through rain and wind in Cullowhee. Anybody joining us?

I would commend to anyone heading up that way a tiny bakery in Sylva that has to-die-for lemon bars.

And just like that the chance of rain on Sat is down to 40%....”cloudy with occasional rain showers. High near 60. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%”

Pretty sure this is it - https://cotton-leigh-bakery.business.site/#gallery

It's about halfway up main street as you head away from the courthouse/public library on the left.

WCU fans are screaming for a coaching change but the only problem is their AD just gave their coach a 5 year contract extension that doesn't even start until 2020. They are stuck. Did you know that WCU plays at Alabama the end of the year? Ouch!

Just spent 10 minutes browsing their message board...wow. That's one depressed group of fans. They deserve better.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
