Surprised no one mentioned the refs! Funny how that doesn't come up when we don't feel jobbed. When is the last time you saw a game with not ONE holding and not one pass interference call ?

That's not pro-Furman, I mean that on both teams - yeah, no one held in that entire game at all.. Those refs had no interest but to get home and only a violent face mask was gonna get in their way of a no penalty game

We, as fans, just don't need to overreact to this game. It wasn't what we were necessarily expecting, but it sounds like it is the type of game the coaches were expecting.

Anyone else remember when our 2004 team beat Elon 10-0 and scored like a bagillion points on everyone else? These games happen.
I agree, EXCEPT for the offensive mistakes. CH was not happy that the O was missing on blocking the safety of ETSU and that on a few plays our pitch man didn't even go to the right place. That was just Furman making mistakes there.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
