The new scoreboard, video board is a big plus. Not only is it bigger but the video quality is better. The graphics on the scoreboard are easy to read, much better. The sound system is much better also. The new outer fence looks great compared to the old chain link. The new diamond F's on the Pearce-Horton building look great and I like that the one on the left says Furman and the one on the right says Paladins. Moving the band back in the stands is another big plus. Thanks to whoever for these improvements!!

Especially like the band back in the stands in the student section. Besides, it helps to make that section look more full and cover up the fact that most students leave at halftime to do whatever they do. Will never understand that.

I think that efforts are being made to get the game day experience up to speed and I do appreciate some of the improvements. It was the first game and there were some typical kinks. My only suggestion is for the band to play more often. There are still dead periods or times when their music would be helpful to elevate the energy level throughout the stadium. I was surprised with the brief halftime show because there sure was a lot of time to kill. The band sounds great and it is always fun to hear them fill up the stadium with their tunes (even if we can't fill it up with fans --YET). Anyways, all is forgiven as long as we play well and get the W. Go FU!

Love Furman band. They are fantastic and put in a lot of work and time for our football program. If we’re fortunate enough to have a home playoff game this year or next or whenever, hope they will be there unlike the playoff game at Wofford in 2017. Actually, it seems there should be a mutual expectation and understanding by football and band that the band would be present for all home playoff games, if any, that we may be fortunate enough to get in any year.

I’m guessing the band wasn’t brought in early enough to prepare a full show. Great sound, though. I agree that the band needs to play more often. I caught several game over the weekend and the bands constantly played, even between plays.

What’s the rule (policy) about showing replays, especially when the play is being reviewed. Every major team shows the replays on their big screens while the officials fumble along. Unless we just don’t have the ability, why not. Did anyone else notice the fixed goal line cameras?

Biggest improvement was in the team. We are off to a great start!

Most room for improvement is in the scheduling; too damn hot for a 1:00 kickoff. August games should be played at night.

One improvement no one has mentioned is that for our entrance we now bring that dinky bell out with a purple gator instead of that silly golf cart. Maybe eventually we lose the bell altogether.

Agree the music is too loud
It's not loud enough. I like big universities' bands. Ours sounds like a high school band, and not as good as Byrnes High.
