Yep a few notes - on one side / Citadel killed CSU as did KSU and Monmouth.. on other hand CSU beat (FBS?) Liberty in late 2017 and killed Hampton and PC in 2018. Not long ago we were on par w PC .... I sat through that game in Clin'on where we lost... oh, man

So fear no opponent but RESPECT THEM ALL ! take no opponent lightly. If we sense the team starts slow bc of press clippings after going 0-3 the past two years to start the year I will be surprised and disappointed. this is our chance to finally WIN in early September. BEAT CSU !!!

NO TEAM CAN BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. CSU has a great WR and another fresh WR recruit (new this year) had an offer from WVA and 7 FBS schools ! that was their real recruiting get.. so they have two legit WRs. The first guy was a stud in 16 and 17 before getting hurt last year... Brown is his name I think

Example - NUMBER 6 JSU is getting killed by 50th ranked (only a few ahead of CSU) Southeastern Louisiana. 35-7 or something. Yes, JSU is losing like that. BEAT CSU !

Oh my. That was horrendous. Not sure how solemn church music is supposed to get a hype video going, but that wasn't even the worst part. The weird paint, the slow mo of a big guy ripping his shirt, the players lip singing. Yikes.

I was about to ask the same thing. Seems an odd tease if they aren't going all gray.

Furman probably cannot wear the gray tops on the road because it would clash with another team's home colors. If they go gray on gray, it'll be a home game.

Two guys stunting through the same gap. Mercer picked up one. Missed the other.
And all the fans yell “That OL is TURRIBLE!”...when you got 5 OL bodies on 5 defenders. RB gotta pick up 6th rusher or check to hot route swing & the QB ‘blocks’ him by getting rid of the Football. Backup RB’s & 3rd Team Walk-on R-FR QB’s, who didn’t have even start for their HS Teams will make an OL look bad sometimes.

Not only that 5 star QB elites can an o line look bad when the ego is in the way.

Doesn't really make a difference that the QB is a backup. There aren't many QBs that would still be standing on that play.

Plainly a missed block by the RB. Not sure who he thought was coming, but it doesn't appear that he even saw McKoy.

LOL - I love you Jackal...

See the LB’s “sugaring” ( http://insidethepylon.com/football-101/ ... the-a-gap/ ) pre-snap? Sometimes this is the D messing with the O & sometimes this is the O’s pre-snap calls/snap count messing with the D. Either way, an experienced QB might take note of this and add something into his pre-snap calls - Let’s say he calls “OMAHA! OMAHA!” This might tell the RB to run a “hot” swing route ( http://insidethepylon.com/football-101/ ... ing-route/ ) and, then, at the snap, that experienced QB might take a “secondary drop” to buy himself (and his RB) a precious second to execute a beautiful perfectly placed, slightly lofted touch pass to the RB, who, likely has some space to operate because the D has committed their LB’s to attack the QB. Or, if the D doesn’t blitz, the RB is not needed to block (anyway) and the QB can execute the called play and proceed through his route progression, as intended.

A 3rd Team walk-on QB, playing meaningful downs in his 1st couple of games since he was playing on Thursday nights for his HS JV Team, might fail to do any of that, just stand there like a statue, get walloped, and have everyone that was rooting for his Team just thankful he didn’t fumble (again) and yelling, “That OL is TURRIBLE!”
