Wherever they go almost certain they will be a 4 seed, so they have a big task ahead of them.
Yep, certainly a 4 seed wherever they go. D1 baseball has them in Atlanta playing Ga. Tech. This wouldn't be a terrible matchup. I think Ga. Tech is way over-rated and doesn't deserve a top 8 seed.

Downed WC 12-8 and 9-5 to claim the title. Hope the Bears do well in the NCAA.
Imagine they are headed to Athens to get pounded by the Bulldogs.
Hmmm...was 2017 so long ago?

Georgia baseball falls to Mercer for the second time in two weeks
Down at one point 10-1, the Bulldogs managed to produce some offense, but the gap was too large as Georgia (15-10) fell to the Mercer Bears (16-11), 12-8 at Foley Field Tuesday night. Mercer defeated Georgia just one week ago in Macon 16-4 in a loss which forced Stricklin to utilize eight different pitchers.

Enough about Mercer already!
We should congratulate them and thank specifically them for beating WC. That’s all. Quit it with Mercer. Unless they progress in the playoffs.

Anything can happen, but this time will be a little different facing likely their second best pitcher rather than a mid-week guy.

Hypothetically, of course. We will see this afternoon if this even comes to pass.

I'm just thankful that we are talking about Mercer and their playoff chances instead of the short-haired dogs.

Mercer to UGA. Clempson gets an easy draw as usual. Starting with a Big10 team that is virtually an automatic win and in the region with the team that has the worst record of the 16 seeds. How can FSU be one of the last 4 in when they had a better overall and ACC record than Clempson and swept CU 3-0?
