Really impressed with Lipscomb tonight in their win at NC State. FYI Wichita St. is the first team in NIT history to beat the top 3 seeds to advance to NY.

Many of us thought WS should have been seeded higher initially. I thought if we beat them if might be our best win of the year behind maybe Villanova (and UNCG)? The point is they were a good team.

WS really came on strong. They are now 14-3 their last 17 games. We could be going to NY if we could have gotten by them.

You think Lipscomb was pissed they didn't make the NCAAs?? Remarkable. As a 5 seed they went on the road all three rounds. Makes me feel a bit better about UNCG getting smoked by them and us losing in first round. Both opponents are in the final four and one will make the finals. What Wichita is doing is remarkable as well. Three road wins. Props to them. Furman gave them the best game.

WS was way under seeded as we said at the time the bracket came out. Only team to advance by beating the #1, 2, and 3 seeds in NIT history.
