Well, good for them. Maybe one of these days we can make the finals and can do something.

Not watching. I guess UNCG so the conference can get 2 in. If WC wins we will still be a one bid league.

UNC-G, we want the team that beat us to win it and we want two teams in NCAA.

Definitely pulling for G. More money in Furman’s pocket and we would have lost to the champion, for whatever that’s worth. Plus I don’t want to see Wofford go undefeated all year in conference. They’ve become my Patriots.

They had a meltdown like we had last night. They were up 5 with 5 to goi, now down 5 with 2plus to go, Sort of like we did they kept putting WC on the line.

UNCG was up 55-50 with 5 to go and WC went on a 20-2 run before uncg added a free throw to make it a 20-3 run. Final 70-58. Their meltdown was worse than ours. They know how we felt last might.

Not sure it means more money for Furman. A recent article posted here indicated the money goes to the conference for operational expenses and a fund for conference improvements. I'm guessing it's a trickle-down fund to ultimately help teams with self-improvement. An effort to assist schools upgrade their video capabilities to reach the ESPN platforms was cited.

Furman made 6 NCAA tourney appearances in a 10 year span from 1971-1980 and won 1 game, then began this 40 year drought

Wofford has made 5 in 10 years and won 0 games, after this season they can begin their own 40 year drought from the Big Dance

Tonight on the news, WC coach Mike Young in his postgame said "he was happy for his team but would be very sad if Greensboro or Furman didn't get a chance. That deserve it" That was pretty classy.
