It would, but I'll do my celebrating when the hay is in the barn.

Most posts on here are in favor of bringing these guys back but I say thanks for your time, but you need to move on.
Why 'regardless of eligibility'??youwouldno wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2026 11:40 pmIsn't House in the transfer portal? I don't see how he would be a starter over Bell or Bowser, as a veteran 6th man House could contribute but I really don't expect to see him suit up for the Paladins regardless of eligibility.
You’re way off base if you think House can’t be a starter. He was one of our most effective players in the SOCON tourney and NCAA game against UCONN.youwouldno wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2026 11:40 pmIsn't House in the transfer portal? I blame it on the courts(judges) they strike down anything the ncaa tries to do.
House is a "3 and D" guy who doesn't rebound, and his shooting last year was really up and down. With the offense being built around Wilkins that worked at times, but his minutes declined towards the end of the regular season and then he basically came out of nowhere to be hot in the SoCon and ncaa tourneys.
My point is the NCAA started this mess by leaving out a group of players from the 5 in 5 rule. All the NCAA had to do was to include those players in the rule change and none of this would be happening. The NCAA owns this debacle, not the courts.apaladin wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2026 11:09 pmI blame it on the courts(judges) they strike down anything the ncaa tries to do.
lol any rules change needs a cutoff, what the NCAA did was completely normal. They didn't break any real laws.Roundball wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2026 4:18 amMy point is the NCAA started this mess by leaving out a group of players from the 5 in 5 rule. lol. They might not have broken any laws, but they certainly didn’t use common sense and they didn’t do the right thing for those players, for new players coming in, and for the teams involved. There was no reason to exclude the players from 2022. The NCAA appeals are going to run out and they will continue to payout millions only to lose.youwouldno wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2026 7:53 amlol any rules change needs a cutoff, what the NCAA did was completely normal.
