* Jacksonville State at North Alabama, 2 p.m. (ESPN3)
UNA had a solid showing vs. undefeated Liberty a few weeks ago. Liberty is favored over P5 ACC Syracuse this weekend. Lions were only down 7-0 to the Flames @ Half. We’ll know more about Mercer when we see how JaxSt does in Florence, AL. Interestingly, JaxSt was favored over Mercer by 6.5 @ Home & is favored over UNA by 7.5 on the road...so if we extract the ‘usual’ 3 point Home Field ‘give’...and extrapolating, Mercer would have been a 7 point favorite on a neutral field over UNA. The Samford & JaxSt peeps FUBeAR knows think UNA will unseat Kennesaw as Kings of the Big South & is playoff-ready as soon as they are eligible. If that’s true, they should be able to whip JaxSt this week. Interesting game. FUBeAR plans to watch,

* Eastern Kentucky at Troy, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN3)
Not sure if Colonels have a realistic FBS scalp shot here or not. They’ve been better in their last 2 outings & Troy has won big 2x & lost big 1x...so we’ll see. FUBeAR might try to catch parts of this one.

* Angelo State at Stephen F. Austin, 5 p.m.
2nd of 2 BSC-to-back D2 games for SFA. Probably won’t watch any of this one...doesn’t seem to be on air anyway.

* Central Arkansas at Missouri State, 8 p.m. (ESPN3)
Interesting rematch. 3 weeks ago @ UCA, the Purple Bears came back from being 13 down in the 2nd half to squeak out a 27-20 win over the Maroon (I think) Bears. UCA scored 3 TD’s in just over a 2 minute span (TD Pass, Fumble Return TD, Punt Return TD) to roar back & held on for the win. Might feel bad for MoSt., but Bobby Petrino is their HC, so...nah. Since then UCA lost a heartbreaker @ NDSU & been pretty much blown out by in-state G5 ArkSt. Meanwhile, MoSt has just been stewing (no games ) on their snatching of a defeat from the jaws of victory. I’m thinking this one might get a little nasty and will tune in to check it out.
