Author is a bellhop alum whose Mom is an FU Alum - so he has some respect for FU from his Mom’s attendance and the real rivalry between The Dins & the hops. But he still thinks of Woffy as an NAIA program, as does FUBeAR. He’s also quite the defender of “The Lost Cause.”
So - he’s set this up for CIT to keep their rivals (FU, VMI), reduce travel costs/ increase home attendance @ CIT games (SCSt, Charleston Southern), and include schools with Civil War relevance (Richmond, W&M, Kennesaw, JMU, Chattanooga).
