Announcers are really going out of their way to give Mercer & Coach Cronic a lot of “love” - nice to hear, actually.

Mercer playing many backups on O now also..and stalls...punts (without incident) and with penalty (block in back - NOW they can see them) pins Army deep.

Army’s backup O is milking the clock against Mercer’s backup D...barring a turnover Or a breakaway...42-3 looks like the final...I suppose Army could put up another score...but game is pretty much over.

No Riddle what the Bears need on O...D will be fine. Have to FIX Punting game or DON’T PUNT!

No inside knowledge of this, but Mercer's insistence on playing Frost may give some insight into how they view the readiness of those QBs behind him.
