SD thinks this will put pressure on converting baseball field to lax facility even though promised to keep for baseball alumni. If not, CU will draw best players away just like for softball. If Dins serious about LAX will need to invest IMHO

SD beleives Dins could compete with the big boys with just a little bit of good facilities. Lax is a preppy sport. Johns Hopkins is a powerhouse. FU is as close to Preppy school as u gonna get in the South (Woof too).

FU is very competive in Olympic sports.. Golf, Tennis, XC... Lax could be one of them

In what sport(s) have we kept up with Clemson at all in the last 40 years?
Seriously comparing Furman and Woof (sic) with Johns Hopkins in almost any aspect seems to be ridiculous and an oxymoron.
And, when was it promised that Furman’s baseball field would be “kept for baseball alumni”? What does “kept for baseball alumni” even mean?

It means ED doesn’t want to rub salt in the wound and/or put a lot of money in a sport few care about or even know exists.
