Great win.

Every Furman NCAA tournament game in the past five years has gone to a penalty kick shootout. In 2014 we beat UAB and lost to Washington. In 2015 we lost the opening round game to South Carolina.

That Washington game was one of the real missed opportunities in recent program history. Were leading in PKs pretty handily and couldn't hold on.

Didn't get to watch last night's match, but very proud of the guys. Awesome win and a great feeling to move on. You never know what can happen in soccer. No reason you can't upset UVA.

Great win and really good match. Very physical. UNCW had a great rowdy crowd. Very happy for the program and Coach Allison who is a Top Man.

I watched the end and there seemed to be a lot of gestures to the crowd lining the fence by our players following shots and saves during the shoot-out. Anyone know what all of that was all about? I imagine that they were getting an earful the entire game, and judging from their reactions to the crowd as we were putting the Hawks away some of it must not have been too pleasant.
