If you really a Furman fan, you should care about this partnership, which will benefit the student-athletes and the university.

Ok, but please how this will benefit FU student athletes and the university? They get to use FU facilities but what does FU get?

FUBeAR got some fairly nice, if used, Falcons shorts & t-shirts when the Atlanta Falcons used Furman’s facilities for their pre-season Training Camp for a few years. And, I think they let us keep a couple of Nautilus weight machines instead of toting them back to Atlanta.

So, maybe the W’s or the Liberty (not exactly sure what they are called) will provide similarly.

You think Furman is just open their facilities for free? I realize it’s not in the article but I have a hard time imagining Furman is not leasing the facilities and that money goes back to athletics.

Fortunately the tables that got lost during “The Furniture Accident” were found and returned to the Falcons.
