I’m worried. G is getting slaughtered at home by Wofford.

G only shooting 18% from 3. W hitting almost 50%. Hoover and Magee leading the way.

As Dan said on the postgame, they will be spitting nails after getting pounded tonight. Better be ready from the getgo.

WC is slowly becoming the team to beat in the SoCon. WC has now played two of the top 4 teams and beaten them by an average of 23 points. We have played one and lost by 23. The next 2 Saturday's or mega-huge games for FU.

Wofford up to #38 in Ken Pom. Not sure but can’t remember a SoCon team being ranked that high since Davidson’s Elite 8 run....

Pomeroy rankings seem a bit more volatile than usual for two months into the season. Wofford was about #54 to start the day. ETSU jumped up to #66 after their win tonight. Furman is up to #98. UNCG dropped about 20 spots to #128

Funny I’ve noticed same thing. Last night we dropped from 107 to 113 and didn’t even play.

I think to some degree the UNCG game points out that some nights it is just not your night. For most of the game they could not hit the back side of a barn. Good defense by Wofford (did not watch closely enough)?

Good piece on the UNCG/Woffy game. https://www.greensboro.com/sports/colle ... 1b871.html
This article scares me about Wofford. They started strong (we tend to start slowly) and before you could blink UNCG was down 14-0. They beat the tar out of UNCG son the boards (1 offensive rebound in first half out of 20 chances for UNCG in first half). Wofford played great defense and shot well. That is pretty much how FU lost to LSU and ETSU. Beating UNCG would give us momentum for the Wofford game next Saturday.

Good news is that UNCG would have had to play full tilt catchup for four quarters.
