Only shooting about 38% from three this year, however. Ranked #111 in that category in D-1.

Watched most of the second half of that game. Wofford had an 11 point lead early in the half but Mercer came back and took a 1 point lead with under three minutes to go. It was tied with about two minutes. Magee hit a couple of clutch threes late. Mercer had their chances. They had the ball and only a one point deficit but turned it over with 47 seconds to go. Their top shooters missed a couple of late threes.

Wofford shot better than their seasonal averages and needed to in order to win this one.

So far no breaks-ETSU beats Sammy in OT at ETSU last week, UNCG beats VMI any 3, Wofford beats Mercer by 4.

The lower tier teams are going to upset one of the “top 4” teams for sure.

....and a good Sammy team falls to 1-3 in the league with a loss at WCU.
