I think we will have to play better against Citadel than we did tonight against Mercer if we want to beat them.

Woffy put up 65 points in second half vs Citadel. But yes, we must play better.

Citadel is the # 1 team in the nation making 14.3 3-pointers per game.

Wofford is # 14 at 10.4 3-pointers per game.

Both bother me as far as us beating them. Wofford particularly is just a good shooting team.

FWIW, Pomeroy has Mercer ranked #189 and Citadel #208.

Ratings don't matter much when it's Furman-citadel (in any sport).

After last year's debacle in Charleston, I say put them away early, if at all possible---and keep the petal to the mettle!

Thats two impressive young men. We are lucky and blessed to have them and the rest of the team and coaches. Quality and intelligence plus.
