Looks that way. We'll see if they can keep this up.

Elon was 4-23 from three Sat. night at home. They are 6-13 already tonight.

Perimeter defense improved towards the end of the half . . . opponents have had too much space to shoot the three a lot of times so far this year.

It was interesting that Richey used the bench much more in that half than has been the case against D-I opponents so far.

Bothwell, Pugh played well. The others not so much.

Terrible defense. Layup after layup. Elon is not missing.

We need to quit trying to play man to man.

4 travel calls on us. When did they decide you don’t get 4 steps?

How many layups for them? Too easy.

Time to put them down for good. Need to pick up the defense now.

That is how it’s done. Pour it on. Finish strong.

If I was the coach I would get the team’s attention by telling them that their defense was TERRIBLE!

A win is a win is a win but lots of teams on our schedule will beat us if our defense doesn’t improve. I saw no intensity on defense.

At times still standing around on offense.

Kudos to Alex Hunter for a strong second half. Good shooting by Pugh.
