I'm not saying it won't happen, but I'll bet Ryan Odom is at the top of UVA's list.

I don’t see Coach Richey leaving Furman with Timmons getting ready to be our home arena. He would not abandon what he has built here until after next year. However, there will be a point the right opportunity comes calling, and if God leads him there, he will be gone. It does bother me that being the HC in a one bid conference bothers him. That has to be frustrating.

Mike Ayers used to get a lot of interest from other schools, but continued to stay committed to Wofford. I think Jerry Richardson helped make that possible.
Hopefully, we are also making it possible for Bob Richey to be at Furman as long as Mike Ayers was at Wofford.

So lucky and thankful to have him as our coach. I’d be putting all the resources possible into developing Bowser. With some added bulk and a quick release hook shot he could be a problem for teams. Excited to see who we bring in via the portal where Richey has been masterful…anyone predicting guys entering the portal?

CBR confirmed the the key transfer last year was the PG from Kent St.
Congrats to CBR and the team for having a great season that we fans probabky take for granted. There were huge issues to overcome...
1. Lost of 4 key players (Foster had a great game, leading scorer for X in win vs Texas last nite)
2. Lost of key transfer
3. Playing basically away all year
4. Injuries to PJ during beginning of year
5. 1 PG short handed all year
6. Lost of key asst coaches
7. Probably many more the general public is not even aware off
So excited for next year. An excellent recruiting class and some key pieces already on team. Excited to see how Mason Smith and Tommy H develop. Excited to see one more year with Vandy as a senior. Excited to see how Bowser and Johnston develop. Excited to see the continued development of Ed B. And lastly, excited to see that NIT banner go up in the new Timmons. Should be SRO!
Nov cant get here soon enough

It will be a sad day if & when CBR leaves Furman. He may be the most level-headed person on the entire campus. As best I can tell, he represents all the positive things about what Furman should be.
Mike Ayers used to get a lot of interest from other schools, but continued to stay committed to Wofford. I think Jerry Richardson helped make that possible.
Hopefully, we are also making it possible for Bob Richey to be at Furman as long as Mike Ayers was at Wofford.

$2.2 M a year is a good reason to stay.....
Bob Richey does not make $2.2 million a year. There is a website called Sportskeeda.com that reports that figure. Don’t believe anything on that aggregate website.
