Did you all see Steph Curry even as active player is now employed by Davidson as assistant GM. He’s so devoted to Davidson that’s huge. He stated they are working to create an EIGHT FIGURE FUND for “men’s and women’s teams”. Not sure if that’s all athletics or just the basketball teams.

Regardless an Eight figure fund ( he can do that himself !) is huge. Be interesting to watch Davidson basketball going forward. If they have even half that as NIL they will KILL

Very cool to see Steph representing Davidson like that. NIL at Davidson will probably look a bit different than it would at a public school. They can’t buy anyone they want since there are still academic standards for their student athletes. Still, very exciting for them.

I hope they stay in the A10.

I wish they’d choose to return to SoCon. I don’t expect that to happen.

Guys please stop calling it NIL. It is pay for play. The NIL was created so a player could make money on his name, image and likeness. No one is earning money. Why is Davidson raising huge money if not to pay players? Technically money for NIL would come from outside sources, businesses etc. Originally schools were prohibeted from contributing money to pay players but since the NCAA has lost all it’s power that is no longer the case.

Davidson needs all the help they can get, they stink these days since Bob Mckillop retired.......
