Takeaways from NG game and season

1. PR value of exposure on ESPN and other media is invaluable.
2. Furman fan based is engaged and growing.
3. Lyons’ offense will attract more attention from other teams thus creating more scoring opportunities for teammates.
4. Lyons postgame interview was beautiful and can serve as a great recruiting tool as he praised his teammates, coaches and fans.
5. It will be difficult but we can beat Villanova. Go Paladins!

I wish the engaged and growing fan base would show up for the games.

1. It's good but not "invaluable."
2. ???
3. He's a below-average 3 point shooter in his career against D-I opponents.
4. I don't think post-game comments are very important to recruits.
5. There's a 3-5% chance or so.

According to this post the glass is niether half full or half empty, it's not even there. Love that positive attitude. I'll take the half full because I see it.

I think the point about him drawing defenses is spot on. While his game against Loyola was not his best, he was right there when we needed him in OT.
Interested to see how he handles the increased defensive attention, if it comes.
And ask Mike Buddie about the value of that ESPN exposure. Like the commercial says: “Priceless”
