I thought it was just football, but the negative FU fan base has arrived for basketball. Vultures are circling…,

3 points to ponder..,before fentanyl sales skyrocket in the upstate….

1). We are never as good as we think we are, nor never as bad
2). Any team can beat any other team on any given night
3). The GOAT is coaching the basketball
team, relax as he will right the ship…the SoCon tourney is when it all counts

FU, Purple UP and change your diaper if you have wet your leg

Time will tell and it will tell quickly. Two more games this week. Purple up and win one of them. All three of your points are exaggerated by the way.

I don't think anyone is shitting on the team. But when you have two big losses to SOCON opponents and an OT win against a bottom feeder, raised eyebrows and criticism are deserved. Reality is most schools in our conference are familiar with our style of play and have weeks of tape on our team. Playing physical and pressuring Anderson and Smith doesn't bode well for our team unless we can find other outlets to score. When you have two defensive players pressuring a guard, someone is open somewhere. We also can't rely on the 3 ball, especially when it's not falling or your guards can't get off good shots.

You know, not to be negative, but maybe our players (who posted shots of themselves wearing the "Who-fford" shirts on social media, which wound up in the Woffy locker room), and our administrators (who I'm sure had a role in the production of said shirts), could be smart enough not to give the other team bulletin board material?
It often results in this:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">SNACK TIME 🌭 <a href="https://t.co/CAwnHSRHsE">pic.twitter.co ... </p>&mdash; Wofford Men&#39;s Basketball (@WoffordMBB) <a href="

Meh, they are 9-8 and average about 1,000 fans per home game lol, they also had lost 5 of the last 6 games against Furman and still trail the all time series 92-64, they are small time compared to where we are headed ;)

Its funny that nobody in Spartanburg follows that team anymore since Mike Young left lol, here are their attendance figures for all home games this year:

1,048
856
929
874
918
1,036

My god, that's pitiful attendance

I care much more about wins than attendance. You should too, Hoopla.

Looking at that above photo of the Wofford players, it looks like the only thing interesting to do in Spartanburg is walk up to the local QT and pick up a pack of Slim Jims.

If you are not upset, p’od, mad etc after watching that performance last night then you are not much of a fan and don’t care as much as the rest of us.

True.....

But in the large picture nobody would have picked us to be 14-3 right now back on Nov. 1st.......

We have work to do no doubt, fortunately the SoCon tourney is not next week but in 2 months so there is time to get things back on track........

25 for 98 in 3 point shooting last 3 games. Opponents 31 for 74. If we are going to shoot 33 three pointers a game we must make more. Duh.

Build for March. Put Hein, Bowser and Johnston in at the same time and push the ball to the basket. Just a suggestion.
