Not sureabout renaming rights but SD is pretty sure he just bought the best donor suite in the history of Dins sports!

Crazy to think we are now probably 1 more big gift away from everything falling into place and officially happening, that gift is out there just waiting to be rubber-stamped soon I can feel it

JD has told us many times they just need that “one” cornerstone gift to get things going, not 2 or 3. They have it now so we will wait and see.

What I meant was we are either one really big gift away or a 'few' more smaller ones away from having ALL the money raised.
The projected timeline is to have all the money needed raised by the end of 2023 with construction to immediately follow.
Play 2023-24 season at current Timmons.
Seems we might be playing the 2024-25 season downtown during renovation.
Play 2025-26 season at sparkling new Timmons

Hopefully JD’s next podcast which is due soon can give us a little more info. Apparently the plans are ready since they were presented to Mr. Curry and a construction company has bern named and is ready. Would it be smart to go ahead and annouce/show the plans publicly to attract more donors?

Too bad. If we rebranded this project as "POTUS Arena", Anonymous Donors would make sure our cup runneth over.

That was a great interview.answered alot of questions! JD seemed to imply that the practice facilities would come later "in time".
Does that mean $40M doesnt include practice facilities?

Not sure about the practice facility but glad its the last part. Best case scenario for the Timmons reno is for construction to start after next season. It is a little disappointing that after over 2 years before Mr. Curry’s generous gift we were not even close to the halfway point. 15 million in over 2 years so with still 15 million to go, raising that amount in a year is optimistic. Maybe with Mr. Curry’s gift that will inspire others to pull the switch.
