They are out. Furman a disappointing #125 behind Sammy at #113. Why?

Lol that's a joke, good thing none of that stuff matters for SoCon teams, only team going dancing is the one that wins on March 6th

We will not be in a multi-bid league until the day comes when we get ourselves into a better basketball conference

Gotta copy the Villanova model, maybe on a smaller scale for now but the same general idea

- Get facilities fully updated

- Keep growing fan base and playing a few bigger games downtown

- Increase University enrollment totals over time while maintaining high academic standards

- Get into a better multi-bid basketball conference, most likely the A10 as slots open up, the Big East is already thinking of taking a few current A10 teams
- Allow football to keep playing FCS football just as Villanova does

- Above all else, KEEP WINNING!!

Yes for the NCAA, prolly doesn’t matter much but a top 70-75 could bring an at large bid to tbe NIT. As weak as the SoCon appears to be this year not much chance to improve much.FYI the ACC has the #361(Louisville) out of #363 teams. Didn’t think we would ever see that.

That's why we need to get to the A10 for hoops, leave football to play in whatever FCS league they want just as Villanova does, basketball is FU's ticket to the big time

We've never made an annual appearance so low (#125) in the NET. In fact, we've never been ranked this low in the NET, ever. Our #118 ranking last year, just after the loss at Mississippi St. was our nadir. I can understand "Quad 1", "Quad 2", etc. wins & losses. But how the annual initial ranking is determined remains a mystery to me.

And we are about as high in KenPom as ever lol, so the two things are contradicting each other somehow, very strange stuff indeed

Pomeroy consults with the NCAA regarding NET.

NET isn't very accurate early in the year due to the NCAA preference against fully weighing point margin. Over time the other factors are enough to push NET closer to the more accurate metrics.
