Lindy’s says Samford takes the SoCon. Is that right?

Cannot confirm, but FUBeAR saw this (pasted below) posted by a reliable poster on another SoCon message board…
Lindy's has us [Samford] picked to win the league with Ques as the POY and Bubba Parham as the Newcomer of the Year.
Is that accurate? Is Samford the favorite to win the SoCon hoops title?

Can Parham be NCOY if he's already played in the conference? He spent two years at VMI, doesn't sound like a newcomer.

Either way, Parham through injury, lack of playing time, ect. is a shell of what he once was, he is washed
