Very true, there is a huge gap even between the top 5 or 10 and the rest. There is a reason though - the distribution of female player talent is much less even than with men's basketball.
The gap between the #75 men's team and #200 men's team is much, much less than with the equivalent in the women's game.
Also the SoCon is a weak conference for women's bball.
