Wonder if we will be able to land a 'Power' school to host downtown next season?

Either way in my opinion 2 games we should go ahead and focus on getting large crowds downtown next year for are Belmont and Wofford

Wofford has already proven to draw a large crowd downtown

Belmont will actually be a pretty big OOC game for us next year, they have really good teams and will be playing in the Missouri Valley next season! I look at this like the type of OOC game we had when Loyola Chicago came to Greenville a couple years ago, that was fun and big time!

Not sure there will be any other SoCon game other than Wofftard worth having downtown next season, hard to say who besides ourselves will be any good or not, maybe Samford will have a good team but even on a Saturday with school in not sure if that would draw a great crowd

Maybe on a Saturday with school in, but I am not sure UTC will be any good next year, they are losing a ton and who knows if Coach Paris and star player Smith will hang around with so many other players gone

Looking at the teams coming to Greenville this year for the NCAA tourney, let's go sign one of these guys up to come back and play us at 'The Well' next season:

Duke
Auburn
Michigan St.
Miami
Southern Cal.
Davidson

First of all you can mark Duke off the list as they do not play any true ooc road games unless they have to. Kinda funny that Fullerton is one of the teams that kept FU out of the NIT is playing here.

Furman is the host team of the regional!

I hope the folks at BSW get it right today. If not, Greenville and Furman will never host another first and second round.

Problems with scanning and not opening the doors until 30 minutes before tipoff for the evening games caused thousands of fans to not get to their seats until late in the first half. Worst of all, the arena does not have sufficient means to remove humidity, which caused dangerous slipping for the players.
