Maybe we know. But maybe the way we feel is a lot different, a lot worse, than the way they feel. To begin with, they get a lot of publicity for the way they feel. We get a little, maybe 1% of what they get. But secondly, and this was my first thought upon seeing your post, to them (i.e., their supporters, fans) it’s, in comparison to us, more like just another game. Since the last time Furman has played a game by getting into the NCAA Tournament, they have played 73 (seventy-three) games in the NCAA Tournament, winning 45 of those and losing 28. For Furman, yes, that number is ZERO. Since the last (and the only) time we won a game in the NCAA Tournament, they have won 53 (fifty-three) games in the NCAA Tournament - one of which was their 63-62 win over Furman in 1978, prior to ending the season with their 60-61 loss to Villanova. That NCAA Tournament was in the year just after the year they won the National Championship with a win over Michigan in the Final, and it was in the year just before the year they won the NIT. Maybe their fans just think they have something to feel sorry about.

… is that 1978 game the only time we’ve ever played IU?
IU should give us some games.
It’s only 7 hours 48 minutes drive between there and FU.
(Similarly with Ohio State, which is only 7 hours 41 minutes. These travel times to IU and OSU are roughly the same as driving to Clarksville, TN, Tampa, FL, Mobile, AL, Towson, MD, Starkville, MS, etc. Closer than Baton Rouge, LA, Oxford, MS, Memphis, TN, and a whole lot of other places.)

The funny part of that is the only reason Wofftard program got turned around in the first place is because Larry Davis recuits Noah Dahlman and others decided to go to Wofftard instead of FU when Davis left FU. Before that Wofftard was in the socon basement and mike young was on path to be fired. Kinda ironic. Now look at little woffy, back in the middle of the socon pack, and FU has won 18 more games than woffy over the past 7 years, that's practically an entire seasons worth of wins more

Yes, woofy and woffy and little woffy, when use as descriptors of Wofford, are an insult to dogs everywhere and to cuteness everywhere.

I've always liked Wofftard, Woffart, and the Tear-iers. But my new favorite is Floppy!
