• NCAA warning of changes

Was not sure where to post this. Moderators can move if needed. Here it comes folks. The NCAA is sending out a warning that drastic changes coming to Division I sports.

Changes ok, not surprising

But I am not sure if anything drastic will come from this

Completely separate division for Top 40 programs…with the only (real) rules being those that increase their coffers

“For the other 1,068 NCAA schools…um…we (NCAA & Prez’s/AD’s of Top 40 schools) don’t really care what y’all do now…figure your own, um, stuff out and get back to us.”

Just don’t see that happening. March Madness is the biggest thing they have going. The small schools are a huge part of that. Would have no iterest in seeing the Duke’s and Kansas’ etc in a tournament by themselves. Making it harder for schools to move up to D1 is long overdue.
