If Bothwell and Slawson come back we will be at 13 scholarship players for next season

So would that prevent us from taking a transfer?

I know for this past season (or still current if we make NIT) we have 14 players on scholarship

Players using their free COVID year don''t count against scholarship limits. Bothwell and Slawson would not count against the limits.

Well that is good news, so theoretically we could still sign 2 more players for next season if we saw someone we were interested in taking

With that said, Yes, I would instantly put an offer in to Hayden Brown, sell to him on coming home to play and playing with Bothwell and Slawson to get to the NCAA's.
Being honest that would probably be one of the best 'Big 3' combo's in the country!

I actually think that was only the case for this year. Going forward they will count against the scholarship limit, which is why we've only signed 2 so far.

That is article is over a year and a half old. Pretty sure it has changed since then but I could be wrong.

Ty Brewer for ETSU has entered the transfer portal, gotta wonder if his brother will follow suit

Both brothers are in the portal

More DI and DII names going into the portal, hope we are keeping an eye on it for someone that can come give us more depth

That’s a lot of peeps. I counted 6 from WCU. Interesting that Faulkner from WCU is going to Louisville.
