Remember when Slaw was the 4th or 5th player on the Team and CBR said he had a great upside that we didnt know about? Boy was he right!

Indeed!
Gurley leaving actually allowed Slawson the space to grow and flourish

How do the coaches and media leave Alex Hunter off an all-conference team? I'm dumbfounded.

A lot of this relates to conference games performance, Alex Hunter had a big drop off for awhile in SoCon games, he averaged 10.9 ppg for SoCon play

Garrison and Foster were about the same 10ppg each average in SoCon play

Hunter does a lot of things besides scoring. He should have been on the All SoCon Team too.

Yes I too was surprised Alex Hunter did not make at least 3rd conference team. I think when you consider everything he was worthy. Oh well he still had a solid year with some big games. Hopefully the best is yet to come with an NCAA tourney appearance.

Congrats to Slawson on the defensive player of the year. I love his blocks from behind. Kudos to both him and Bothwell.

I believe both can be even better next year. That would be a nice duo to have back.
