Get well soon for Garrison. Interesting lineup. Instead of another guard had Hughey and Foster in. SD likes it

Ran 4 miles today but can’t play because of a test that may or may not be accurate. This covid thingy is way out of hand.
To the game. We have to give up more layups than any team in the country. 5 baskets, 5 layups tonight.

Key number tonight. Uncg is 0-4 when they give up 70 or more. 8-0 when under 70.

Now 8 uncg baskets, all layups. Make it 9 for 9.

Outrebiunded 20-11. Uncg 12 fgs, 11 layups one piss 3 pointer. On pace for a uncg win with only 30 points for FU. To show how bad we are defensively we have outscored them by 15 from three but only up 2.

Hein seems lost and can't do anything with the ball but lose it...ashame

Halftime thoughts-We are just not a lot of fun to watch. Inconsistent as heck. Getting our brains beat out (20-11) on the boards.

Foster and Hien just don’t have the hands to do much ball handling around the basket. Each largely seems to be a turnover waiting to happen.

7 points from players other than Hunter and Bothwell is pathetic.

We pass around the perimeter and unless Hunter or Bothwell are hitting 3’s we don’t have too much offense.

One positive over the last few games is when Slawson fakes a 3 and then drives to the basket and he is getting closer to the basket and going up strong with dunks or easier shots. Earlier in season he would be a little further from the basket and miss short shots. But other than that he has not shot well tonight.

We need a Rafferty. No easy baskets for us. Regardless of whether we win or lose this game, I don’t think we look like a good team. Help us if Bothwell and Slawson don’t come back next year.

we have no flow offensively and the guys don't seem to know what to do when they get the ball...no 2 man games or pick and rolls....we don't use each other to produce offense

Hien starts the second half, Hughey is just not ready. We really miss Garrison. Looking like we may not get to 60 which is huge for uncg. One fg in 4 mins to start the second half.

More stats: Furman 58, UNCG 54 on national TV

For those who just skimmed the thread, I'm sure that result wouldn't have seemed remotely possible to you.
