Blue Hose

Since DHK Sports' other site is LaurensCountySports.com, I have seen most of both Presbyterian's and Furman's games, either live or on TV. Caleb Gilbert and I both covered PC's loss to Wofford yesterday.

The Blue Hose are relatively young and talented. Even though Wofford clobbered them 76-49, twice PC got within 8 points in the 2nd half yesterday. They ran out of gas when they got in range. They aren't a terrible 3-point team, but they were yesterday: 1-18. The Terriers outscored them 33-3 behind the arc and won by 27.
Rayshon Harrison, a sophomore guard from Greenville, is a fantastic talent. He has a 32-point game this year, and PC has had its moments, winning 3 straight at the University of New Orleans' round robin at the season's beginning.
After the Paladins played UNC and Mississippi State, Presbyterian is visiting Furman at a pretty opportune time. I could see Furman overwhelming PC the same way Wofford did, but I could see the Hose hanging in there, too.
Presbyterian, at present, has a team that isn't as good as the sum of its parts. Ideally, it will be better once the Big South season commences. I'm a bit more confident about that with Furman in the SoCon.

We have not had any comfortable D1 wins this year and I expect no different Tuesday night. If FU wins I expect it to be much closer than most peeps think. Notice I said if FU wins which is certainly not a given. Seems like FU gets everyones best game and I expect PC to be no different. They went 1-18 from 3 against WC that means 50 percent vs, FU at least.

Yep. The PC game is a very dangerous game. They have shown some spark this year and if we're not on our game Tues. night we could find ourselves on the wrong end of the scoreboard.

Espn gives FU a 93 percent chance of winning which is way too high IMHO. Don’t like the fact that FU is coming off a disappointing game they should have won. Vegas line is FU -13 which again IMHO is too many points to give.

This game has trap written all over it. PC coming off their worst game of the year has something to prove. Would love to knock off Furman. Furman has nothing to be excited about. Hughey has been activated. Alex Williams not dressed tonight, coaches decision. Doesn’t sound good fir AW.

Coach says it looks like a concussion & he'll be on "concussion protocol". But he's up & celebrating with the team.
