Sports news were talking that Duke might end up in the Dance as a replacement team if a selected doesnt make it due to positive VID

Dont think the Dins could make that but if enough Teams move up to the Tourney maybe an NIT spots opens up

In that most unlikely scenario how could they take FU over WC? Only hope would be FU’s much higher net ranking. As of now FU #74, UNCG #86 and WC #111.

All undergraduate students at Duke University are under mandatory quarantine due to an outbreak of COVID. I assume this includes the basketball players too.

Forman the second team out of the NIT. I’m assuming they are doing replacements the same as the NCAAT, so just need two teams to get called up to play. That would be amazing all things considered. Beats waiting until November for the next game and gives Clay a chance to end his career the right way!

If UNCG turns positive, guess 2nd choice would be Mercer. If UNCG and Mercer, VMI? That would be something if VMI ends up in the Dance

Belmont, Furman, Marshall and UAB are among the potential replacement teams for the NIT.

Colorado St led by Niko Medved is in the NIT. This is too good and made for TV--- Dins vs Colorado St. Somehow they gotta make this happen!!

Hard to believe Belmont didn’t make the NIT at 26-4. Will FU get a bid to the CBI? I assume they would accept unless ED nixes it?
