At least the regular season. Obviously the next 3 games will go a long way to determine where the ‘dins finish in the regular season.
3-0 in great shape to finish high in the standings
2-1 still in good shape but no more slip ups.
1-2 pretty much done, but theres still a chsnce
0-3 forget about it. Try to finish in the top 4 to get a bye.

In our league, the regular season is somewhat pointless. A team can go undefeated and lose the tournament and they'll be sitting at home for the Dance. Playing this grueling schedule will help prepare us to win three in a row in the tournament.

While normally our postseason fate would be determined in the tournament. However there is a lot of talk this year about canceling conference tournaments all together. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that happened and in that case the regular season champion would get the bid. Because of that these next 3 games are extremely vital.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
