Fab Five

I know it’s very early but so far I see this as a Fab Five type of year. We are getting very little production off the bench. There is no Mike Bothwell. Tonight the bench accounted for 35 minutes, 2 points and 0 rebounds. Like CBR said on the postgame that has to be better. The good news is the bench is very young but can provide breathers but it needs to be more than that. I really expect the bench to improve as they get more experience hopefully sooner rather than later.

Agreed. The bench is a definite weak spot....for now. Getting this kind of PT in the OOC portion of the schedule should pay off when we get to conference play.

It's an issue right now, but I think those guys will mature by say games 10-15 is where we should see guys routinely contributing off the bench....Rome wasn't built in a day, but it needs to be by March.
