As I remember, last year none of the top 4 teams lost to the bottom 6 teams. I had thought Western and UTC would upset some of the top 4 teams this year.and that could still happen but so far, only UTC whipping Wofford at UTC is bucking a continuation of the trend from last year.

That was the only one. Still seems highly unusual and not something that would happen on a yearly basis.

Technically Samford tied for 6th with Mercer.
