Looked into tickets for this one, but the game starts at 8pm (9 EST) on a Thursday!

I guess because it is on SEC Network.

Currently ranked #22 in the country.

Another opponent, Alabama, is not ranked and did not receive any votes.

Also note that no SoCon team received any votes in AP poll. Not surprising at this stage

A week ago the Crimson Tide began their season with an at-home loss to KenPom #119 Univ. of Pennsylvania, followed by a 19 point win last night against KenPom # 184 Florida Atlantic. Compared with our 24pt drubbing of KenPom # 103 Loyola, the Tide appears pedestrian (and doesn't merit any votes).

The question now in my mind is what will be our expectations upon heading to Tuscaloosa. A couple of weeks ago I would've said they were a stretch … now I'm thinking the guys are gonna whoop 'em.

South Florida isn't ranked, and won't be . . . is that football you're thinking of?

My bad, it's their women's team that is ranked #25. I wish ESPN would not show women's college basketball scores. :D

Auburn will enter this game 7-0 and should be ranked somewhere in the Top 15

I have no expectations for this game anymore, we are 7-2 but have beaten no team with a winning record and have 2 loses to teams also without winning records. are we any good or not???

I'm afraid the answer is not very good. After we get blown out at Auburn, we have Upstate and NGU at home so 2 possible wins. Then a loss to Winthop at the Well. That will leave us 9-4 in the preseason I think. All the lofty projections of 23-25 wina for this team are a pipe dream. I think we finish with around 18 wins.
