Earlier this year, VMI took Fordham (11-6 overall, 6-4 and fifth place in the A10 ) into OT and lost by only 3 and gave Davidson a close game (75-71 final.) The A10 is down this year and barely beating VMI at home sorta shows that.

They have been daring teams to shoot the three and sagging inside to get rebounds. Kept them close when the opposition is missing from the perimeter but looks bad when the shots are falling.

Attendance was a nice round figure of 450. More like 100. Place was empty but what do you expect with their record. Watching the replay, didn’t realize we scored 32 points in the last 7 nmiutes of the half. Might have been the best offense of the season.

A good scrimmage. Vanderwal and Whit were a combined 2-12 on 3’s. Their knuckleballs hurt them shooting for sure.

Hien and Foster a combined 7 shots and 10 points together. Generally that is not a winning formula.

Alex developing nicely and Pegues maybe our most consistent player now after Bothwell & Slawson.

Sammy should have lost to Mercer but largely lost because of 50 % FT shooting. Western guy scored 47 in win over Wofford.
