Love this team - Bob did a great job on the rebuild. Not our most talented but they bought in and gave it everything. Nick, I wish you had played here more than one year. PJ - one of my all time favorites. GH - you bleed purple. Love ya. Look forward to seeing what you do in life.

Credit to Wofford - they answered every time we hit a three tonight. I think UTC took a ton out of us.

Jesse, thank you for being objective here. Yeah the announcers annoy me as much as anything “this is HIGH LEVEL BASKETBALL “. NO ITS NOT ! It’s great OFFENSE. but that’s all the casual fan sees. We needed the zone use more. Notice all the turnovers caused by our zone… then we go back to M2M and we foul them instantly and they go to FT line for two. Why go back to M2M?

Tough loss but what a season! Better than anyone expected and better tournament performance than anyone expected just a week or two ago. Not sure why we had to resort to off-balance terrible 3-pt attempts down the stretch but that’s my only gripe. Wouldn’t be there without PJay but he was trying to do too much at the end.

Offense at end was ugly, desperate 3s
Went out of 131Zone and they went on a run.
Bowser getting 4 really hurt. We stared collapsing to help in paint and leaving the perimeter open and they hit all the 3s. That was a huge issue in the game. We should have pulled away middle second half but they hung around.
Tough way to go out.

100% until they start to figure it out and beat it, stick with the 1-3-1. They have some good shooters but any time a team is knocking down 50% from 3 you need to re-assess your defensive plan. Wofford was NOT letting PJay and Nick get good looks, they had to work like hell just to get a look from 3.

If that is your take after watching that game you know less about basketball than you do football and that is saying something. Both teams hit shots with guys all over them. Mind you they did this while playing their 3rd game in 3 days. You really need a new hobby … perhaps gardening where you can critique the plants on their poor growth.

WRONG. I took out Vegas on this. I know my sh!?t. Vegas said Wofford PLUS 1.5 points. How much did you bet and win on Wofford? Because you DONT KNOW MORE THAN ME. or else like like FUBeAR agreed with me you woulda loaded up and bet big.

I said hmm. They beat us by double digits one game. We hit a three to win other game. Average? They win by 7. They are getting points ? Wait. We went to OVERTIME yesterday. Key guys 35+ minutes for us. Wofford rested everyone and no one played thirty minutes for Wofford yesterday as they had VMI. That’s really the key. Wofford was not REALLY playing their third game in three days. It was kinda their second game (2.5?) in three days

Agree..stay in the 1-3-1 zone and probably win this game..although you have to credit wofford..hardly missed any 3 point shots..

And Tyrese Hughey - did not mean to leave you off! It is hard as hell to get very little playing time for an entire season but still bring energy and a good attitude on the bench and genuinely pull for your teammates. Most folks have no f’g idea how hard that is. We saw you and appreciate you for it. Props to you as well.

I personally watched Duke set a record holding Wofford to FOURTEEN points in first half. Duke laid off and LET Wofford get 35 points in the entire game ! That’s was taking their foot off gas.

I then SPOKE TO A WOFFORD COACH as I know a player and he agreed with all my takes. I KNOW my stuff. Horns set. Pin down etc
