The fan base at Drake will never forget him, but not in a good way. They keep coming up with new insults.
Of the ten players Medved signed for Drake for his two recruiting classes only three appear to be set for next year. Two of the recruits for next year are following him to Colorado State. One of them, 6'7" wing Adam Thistlewood, is from Colorado and turned down a CSU offer to join Medved and the Drake fans have accepted that switch without much problem. The other player, PG Kendle Moore, was from Illinois and probably Niko's top recruit this year. Drake fans are NOT accepting of that move.
